Classic example would be Joe Frazier (5'11") against Muhammad Ali (6'3"). In later years, Mike Tyson (5'10") versus James "Bonecrusher" Smith (6'4"). In the lower weights, Manny Pacquiao (5'6") against Antonio Margarito (5'11").
There have been plenty of examples especially at heavyweight---Tyson vs. almost everybody he had faced and beaten mostly by KO/TKO between 1985-1989.
At lower weights, there's Manny Pacquiao who was almost always outsized and outweighed by his opponents at fight time.
Dwight Braxton/aka Muhammad Qawi was only 5'6" and fought and beat many top, taller boxers.
I'm trying to prove to my dad that a small boxer with more skill can beat up a bigger boxer, but he thinks that boxing is only about size and strength, and that a small man cant be successful.
