His fathers doing the right thing. He believes in his son and is trying to give him a kick up the **** because he knows he can win and its a fight everyone wants to see. Mayweathers scared - not necessarily of Pacquiao, but of losing his 0. Pacquiaos already lost and has lost recently to marquez. He'd be the underdog so he's not phased. I've always said it, mayweather had the ability of a champion, but doesn't have the heart of one. Mayweather snr should get an award of some sort as he's only doing the right thing. It will be Floyd Mayweather that will make the decision not his Dad. His son will make the decision of what goes on if Pac wants to fight. That is his son's affair, if he has advice to give him, I do believe Floyd will listen. But for now, Floyd is an ADULT, over 35 years old, he will make his own decision.
I think he is drawing millions of people's attention back to this fight by stirring up emotions once again. So, all in all, I think he is simply promoting the fight.
Also, Mayweather isn't scared. He was five years ago- maybe - but not now. Floyd believes 100% he can win the fight(and I'm not saying he will). He is simply making the right moves at the right times.
Floyd Jr. is the boxer and the promoter. The dad is just the trainer and he is not in the position to commit his son to anything, even if he is his father.
Same goes to Mommy Dionesia. She cannot second guess or preclude her son Manny's plans, even if she wants him to retire from boxing already.
I think Floyd Jr is totally sick of being asked over and over again about the Pac fight that will never happen, unless only for charity. He hates promoter Bob Arum, who still owes him money, and Pac wants a 50 50 split.
