In my opinion both Brandon Rios and Mike Alvarado are true "Mexican" warriors and not so long ago there was Isreal Vazquez. These guys are truly "Blood and Guts" type fighters.
There's a whole new wave of fighters coming up, but the big difference is fighters are becoming smarter and there's nothing better than a smart fighter with balls.
You're forgetting about Julio Cesar Jr my friend..... But yes, gone are the days of the gutsy Mexican warriors. I cant help but admire the long line of MExican greats Chavez sr, Morales, BArrerra, the MArquez brothers, VAsquez. Boxing just wont be complete without the MExican toughies

I was thinking what happen to all the so called straight ahead Mexican fighters?Other than Rios I can not think of one Mexican that will stand there and fight. Marquez had more moves against Bradley than Fred Astir.
