Frozen lemonade is a good way to go. Try this recipe for frozen strawberry lemonade:

- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about six lemons) TIP: buy the ones that feel like they have very thin skin, you'll get more juice out of them

- 1 cup sugar

- 4 cups water

- 1 cups ice

- 2 cups frozen strawberries (blueberries, mangoes, raspberries-seeds strained and pomegranate juice also work well)

Put everything in the blender and blend until smooth. Garnish with a lemon twist.

The only problem with frozen drinks is that they don't hold up for very long. They start to melt and separate, so if you want, you can use the same recipe, but only blend the strawberries and water. Then add this mixture to the lemon juice and sugar, add ice when ready to serve and Voila! Springtime freshness!

For anyone who wants to make it an adult beverage, try adding Vodka or Southern Comfort.

You could do Italian sodas: soda water + Italian fruit syrup, optional: half and half.

The Italian syrup is just a simple syrup (1 c water, 1 c sugar dissolved in a pot), plus 2 cups fruit of your choice, simmered 20 mins, fruit strained out. Then add another 2/3 cup water.

root beer float, or sherbert float with fruit sherbert and sprite!

I want to make a homemade drink that is springy. Either something fruity or lemonade. I LOVE iced tea but not everybody is big on iced tea..so i'll stick with fruity or lemonade, anything with soda water to make it a bit bubbly? Non alcoholic is MUCH appreciated :)
