All champions at middleweights as in other weight classes recognized by the WBA,WBC, WBO and IBF for that matter are paper champions until they fight each other and prove who is the real champion.
As for Quillin being a big joke, we have to see who he fights next and how much he stands to earn in thet fight for the cost of vacating his WBO title, a paper title as we are in agreement.
I hope he fights jacobs.
Depends on who he fights next. If he chooses a lesser fighter then I'll agree with you.
But from what I'm hearing he might be fighting Danny Jacobs, which I think is a much better fight and it apparently is for more money.
I'm so tired of Quillin that I can't believe I took the time to write that I'm tired of him.
Just because Al Haymon protects some of his boys doesn't mean he protects them all. But he does protect Quillin, Wilder, Garcia (after Herrera) and Broner. Some of his guys like Matthysse and Maidana don't get a break. Matthysse fought John Molina in a tough fight and is now facing another hard hitter who is undefeated. As for Quillin pretty obvious Haymon advised him to vacate the belt and is most likely going to fight Jacobs next another Al Haymon guy.
