Its a gym and he has a Mexican in his team. He wears gloves that have the Mexican flag colors during his fights. I could go on. I think it is safe to say that he is not just a black fighter, but also one that represents mexicans as well for many reasons I won't get into depth with. I don't respect him, but there is nothing offensive about the Mexican flag being in his gym.
For all his faults, a lot of Floyd's behaviors are staged. I think Floyd is actually trying to quell the bad blood between himself and certain Mexicans.

I don't remember ever hearing Floyd say anything derogatory about Mexicans in general. He picks on each of his opponents while promoting the fight. He has always shown a degree of respect for Mexican culture.

Floyd happens to have friends, associates and business partners who happen to be Mexican. Since there is no reason to view otherwise, why not just view it as a positive? ..It's just certain ones who chose to view it as negative or racist. Would you feel better if Floyd placed a bunch of flags and left out the Mexican flag?

I'm Mexican and I don't find it at all offensive. He has plenty of Mexican fans and he's cited Ricardo Lopez as one of his all-time favorite fighters.
Nah alot of his fans are Mexicans am pretty sure he gets alot of visits from Mexican fans at his gym so he just has it there as respect for his main fans ..plus he has 2 future Mexican boxers training there too so thats another reason to have it up
