Of the best we've seen from both fighters, the educated answer is The Hitman, Broner's lucky to still be undefeated, he lost by 3 rounds on my card against Ponce De Leon, scraped through by 2 against Malignaggi last weekend, he needs to improve if he wants to dominate in the years to come
First thing first, Floyd at his best took 10 rounds before he was able to dismantle the also undefeated Ricky HAtton.I have to say Broner, all his life probably wished he was Floyd and i say he was still a poor man's Floyd. He'll never get close.
The Fight
- The Undefeated Hatton knows no retreat and only knows how to fight coming forward. The Hitman bulldozes his way being the toughguy that he is, towards Broner. Adrien senses danger and always retreats. He had no idea how to fight the juggernaut. He elects to fight in the distance .Adrien thought he was ahead on scorecards as his corner told he was outboxing the bully in Ricky. That's his problem. The judges saw it the other way. Hitman wins the bout 115 -113 in a close but unanimous decision
Ricky Hatton no doubt. Paulie didn't have a mark on his face and said Broner's shots didn't hurt so I don't think Ricky would be in much danger of getting KO'd, even if he doesn't have as good of a chin as Paulie. Broner stands right in front of his opponent and is there to be hit, so Ricky would have a field day with that. Ricky was a busy fighter and didn't give his opponents a moments rest. He loved a brawl and I don't think Broner would be able to cope with his aggressive style. I really can't see Broner being able to cope when the fight goes to the trenches.
Right now, Hatton, but we don't know what Broners best is yet, need to watch how his career progresses & he develops.
The only reason Floyd KO'd Hatton was the point deduction, he knew he had to go for the KO & payed for it. Hatton gave Floyd his most competitive fight since Oscar.
At his best Ricky Hatton but Broner is young and he should improve so if he does which I'm sure he will it will be a tough call due to styles but i think it would still be Hatton.

Was not impressed with broner thought he was lucky against malignaggi, yet ricky hatton made paulie look like a journeymen, who do u guys think would win broner or hatton?
