Who would win in a fight Tyson or ali . I say Ali because of his speed.?

I know Tyson couldn't fight because when Tyson was in Ali was out. JUST WHO WOULD WiN!

Either of them could win, but I'd say 9 times out of 10, it would be Ali. The reason I think this is because Muhammad Ali as you've already mentioned, was very quick and had terrific footwork and head movement. He quite literally summed up the phrase: 'hit and don't get hit' in boxing. He had a lot of patience too, and would often finish his opponents of in the later rounds. (In fact I think his only 1st round knockout was in his second fight with Sonny Liston) Ali was a terrific out - fighter who could still take a punch if he was hit.

Tyson is a completely different kettle of fish. He was a hybrid of an infighter/swarmer and a slugger or brawler. In other words he had very quick hand speed and reasonably quick footwork (although not as good as Ali's) and had a huge amount of Power in his Punches delivered at such quick speed. In my opinion, the only person who could have possibly beat him in his prime was Muhammad Ali. Mike Tyson's fights often didn't last long, he knocked out his opponents early on and only had a few fights that 'went the distance' before he fought Buster Douglas. However because of this he most likely felt frustrated as the rounds went on. (that's what I think anyway)

In a fantasy fight between him and Muhammad Ali, I see Ali winning by UD or maybe even a knockout. I see Tyson getting very frustrated and wasting a lot of energy in not being able to keep up with Muhammad Ali and land a solid punch on him. Tyson would then either not land as many punches or become so worn out that he'd collapse from exhaustion. Ali would still get in and land the shots but slither away mostly unscathed. Even if you look at Ali's fights that went the distance before he was stripped of the titles, the scores were mostly biased in the number of punches that Ali landed compared to his opponents. However if Tyson could land a punch on him at the right moment and in the right place as Henry Cooper sort of did in his first fight with Ali, then I could see Tyson winning by Knockout.

Just my opinion, but anything could happen.

Ali by UD.

Their was some slick boxers who took a prime Tyson into the later rounds. Those boxers would be considered Journeymen compared to Ali. It has potential of being a great fight, and either guy could win, but Ali has the major advantage.Ali would of frustrated Tyson, and took a Decision.

I think Tyson. Tysons a beast. I wouldnt wanna fight em IIf I were a fighter

if buster can beat tyson w/ his jabs... what more ali, but remember the tyson that ko holmes aint the tyson that buster beat...
