Evander fought 25 champions or former title holders and much like Duran at lightweight, Robinson at middleweight and Ali at heavyweight, Holyfield is considered the greatest cruiserweight in the division's history. He won the heavyweight championship of the world 4 times and fought epic wars with Bowe, Lewis, Tyson and Moorer.

Evander is a ligitimate ATG and quite possible one of the ten best heavyweights in the division's history. Obviously a lock for a first ballot induction into the BHOF he was one of the best fighters of his era as well as one of the best in history.

Holyfield would have been competitive at any time in history, and in any weight division he would find himself.

His best performance was every single one he did, as he gave all them his best, and never ducked anyone even if he was not healthy, ready or whatever. He simply was a warrior.

His worst performance was with women, where he lost everything in the courts, but hey, every man loses there......it is a fixed fight.

I will remember him as a dirty, win at all costs tough guy.....he showed all us jam-tarts how to get the job done. Too bad he is now broke.

A) Michael Moorer II

B) I agree with the others it has to be his fight with James Toney.

C) Becoming the Lineal Heavyweight Champion.

D) his trilogy with Riddick Bowe and his fights with Mike Tyson. Oh and Celebrity Big Brother

He is definitely a First Ballot Hall of famer and i hope he stays retired.

I'll remember him as one of the toughest muthaf@ckers in boxing history. He whipped Tyson in his prime. Whipped Riddick Bowe in his prime. Legends are made by wins like this and Holyfield sure was the real deal.

On the flip side I'll also remember him for dat big old HGH neck, for getting robbed blind by Creflo Dollar and for beating his wife up for not giving enough money to Creflo.

A) VS Dwight Muhammed Qawi

B) probably losing to Toney

C) becoming the Universal Cruiserweight champ

D) as a man on a mission

best performance ~ beating tyson, first fight especially, and the moorer rematch.

worst ~ against toney

greatest achievement ~ showing his heart time and again.

i followed his career from the first qawi fight and knew he would be great, but i didn't or couldn't know how great. i will remember that he cleaned out the cruisers and took on top heavy contenders (after tillis) all the way to the title.

i'll remember the foreman fight, the bowe fights.... how he went toe to toe with the bigger man in the first / fan man in the second / how he almost kayoed riddick in the rubber match before succumbing / and of course tyson.

enjoy your retirement evander, and please stay retired.

As the best heavyweight from the 90's era, and probably, for standing up to Mike Tyson twice.

A He probably had better, but his win over Tyson, in their first fight was huge.

B Getting schooled, by James Toney

C Champion

D True Champion, fought them all.

Great fighter fought tyson too late was finished when he fought lewis other than that he will go in the boxing hall of fame one of his bad nights was against a bum bert cooper who knocked him down but he prevailed taking cooper out

The best head butter in heavyweight history............How does it go now, Holy Holyfield. 11 kids by 6 different women. Amen.

A) What was his best performance?

The man with his ear bitten by Mike Tyson.

Honestly. Steroids.

A ear with a chomp out of it compliments of mike tyson.

I'm making $4000 every month by cheating at online roulette after watching this youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMn3sdBcN...

by beating the **** out of tyson

Can never forget what Tyson did to him!
