His record was better, but you can say he did not fight Ali or some of the better all time heavy weights, so records can be misleading.
I would agree with Ali that he was better, than Frazier.
I don't think Marciano beats Frazier. How good of a boxer was Rocky? Was Marciano a better boxer than Ali whom Frazier beat? Do you think that Marciano would have been more competitive against Foreman than Joe? "Outwitted" Joe Walcott to the extent that Marciano's nose was almost removed from his face?
I think people underestimate Frazier's speed, whereas Marciano was game, powerful and strong-willed plodder. I think Joe beats Rocky.
Also, when did that pr-ck Ali ever say anything nice about Frazier while he was alive?

Marciano was an easy target. Frazier constantly moved whether it was bobbing, weaving or slipping. Marciano was a slugger and had hardly any ring intelligence. I couldn't see him beat Ali but Frazier did... Once
