Rumour has it that the announcement of GGG vs Chavez is being delayed for Floyd's rematch announcement?

No way that's happening. Putting on an opposing PPV against Floyd is a horrible business decision.

JCCJR vs GGG is a great fight, but it'd get crushed going up against a Floyd PPV. Casual's wouldn't but that fight over a Floyd fight, and if they were on the same night then the PPV is going to bomb.

They'll have that fight a different night, so they can get the most out of it and not be overshadowed by another event.

arum shoudve been doin this business strategy since mayweathe v ortiz.... its just nothing a smart businessman cant figure out... problem is arum is over 80 and now faltering, he aint consistent

maybe for arum, its time he test the waters...

and if he does that, im convinced hes personal to floyd...

I would like to hope this pushes him to fight Pac, but then, chances are it makes it even less likely as he wont work with Arum if this happens even more than now.

Would like to see what Chavez says to being used like a pawn though.

And another thing. I keep hearing GGG wont fight Ward cause he's concentrating on clearing middleweight out first.

Why is he fighting Chavez at super middle then?

Ward actually said he called GGG out. GGG who everyone ducks apparently. GGG who has beat journeymen. Funny how he can fight at 168 now.

maybe

So that Top Rank can stage the GGG-Chavez fight on the same night as Mayweather's rematch of Maidana.

If Top Rank add Provodnikov vs Bradley rematch on the same card (very unlikely) or a figh of similar stature, I think they will triumph over Mayweather.

Bare in mind this date will be over Mexican Independence day weekend. This fight could make both GGG and Chavez real stars, win or lose.
