What were the major differences between a 1973-74 and a 1994-95 George Foreman?

The later Foreman was older and wiser. He let the fight come to him instead of wasting energy in his younger years. Best example was the fight against Ali. Foreman was clearly the stronger of the two but fell into Ali's trap. Ali beat him with his brains more than anything else.

Foreman was devastated from that fight but learned from it. After that Foreman never wasted another punch.

Patience and composure which Foreman never showed in his impetuous youthful prime and which he found as a great virtue coming back successfully in an advancing age. I notice that Big George was a cool Daddy both in victory and defeat in his ten year comeback in 1987-1997, He has so re-invented himself as well as his image that he parlayed that successfully in selling his trademark burger grill. He has remained a loveable image, very far from the scowling, angry and mean persona he was known in his first coming in the 70s.

1994-1995 Foreman was slower, threw far less punches and his punches seemed less vicious but he was more economical.
