Which one fighter that you had previously doubted, earned your respect more than any other?

I cant pick just one fighter.

Its between GG and Daniel Garcia they both proved me wrong.

Both undefeated GArcia's actually were impressive -Danny and Mickey. I had to go with Mickey as the better one, or Danny will once again prove me wrong. Mickey moped the floor with Salido, a very durable guy who saw it ALL, the toughest of the toughest, Marquez, Lopez, Gamboa, Guerero, all the big guns. At first, Mickey i thought was just a product of the media because of him having already the edge of being a brother to world renowned coach Roberto Garcia. He earned my respect after beating my fellow countryman Bernabe Concepcion -the guy who gave the FIRST knocked down to JuanmaLopez

-Danny comes clearly close behind especially after beating Lucas. i will have him as my top choice had he not beaten my longtime idol Eric Morales. LOL.

Most recently; Danny Garcia

So far Danny Garcia and Marcos Maidana. Also Jhonny Gonzales.

Danny. Only because I started out with extremely low expectations of him, that he was a fluke job after beating Khan, fighting Morales twice and almost losing to Zab. My opinion has gone up only slightly with his performance against Matthtsse. I still don't consider him a top boxer but he's more than a hype job.

Joe Calzaghe. I thought Jeff Lacy would walk through him easily. But, to his credit, Calzaghe took him to school. I became a believer.

I never thought Aaron Superman Davis was impressive...then he KO'd Breland.

In Holyfield's early fights as a heavyweight he was routinely rocked. Eventually he became quite the warrior and avoided walks down queer street.

I thought Carl Froch was a just a plodder with a good chin after losses to Ward and Kessler. But I think he revised my opinion of him, although I don't see him beating Ward.

Recently, it's James Kirkland. I saw him being stopped by an obscure Japanese Noburo Ishida. But he came back by stopping Perro Angulo and lately Glen Tapia, both powerful KO punchers themselves. But I don't have high hopes in him progressing any further to threaten even the elites of the 154-160 lbs. classes. Even with Ann Wolfe back.

Danny Garcia man this kid did it again and again I can not think of anyone that has impressed me more in resent years.

Shawn porter: I thought he was overrated and one dimensional. I instantly became a fan because he beat Devon alexander in impressive fashion. That was definitely fight of the night. I think he will beat many top contenders at welterweight.

nigel benn. after two losses, he proved himself to be a very capable champion.

i'm talking about the guy that you thought was a hypejob or overrated but went on to transform your opinion of them for what they did in ring

i havn't followed the sport long enough to have one of my own.i have a work in progress though who continues to prove me wrong,Danny Garcia
