I think that you and I are the biggest Russell fans on the forum Sean, but I have to say no on this one as well. Russell is not ready for Mares yet. Mares has proven over the past few years that he is a top dog and Russell, though talented and loaded with potential, hasn't quite made the leap to the elite level. I have no doubt that if he can stay healthy, that he will get there in the next year or two, but Mares has too many tricks in his bag for Russell Jr. to deal with right now.

No. Not even close. Mares has a good resume that is just getting better. Russell hasn't fought one person that I have as being a good fighter. He needs to at least fight a couple of solid journeymen that we know of before we start talking of this.

No there are a lot of outer good fights out here for Russell here is one let him fight King Kong the African and see how he does in that fight.
