Did referee Lawrence Cole's behavior tell us something?

Definitely showing favoritism..but as I said..it didn't matter the wannabe money mayweather got his asz handed to him on a platter

Cole should've taken a point from Broner simply b/c he warned him so many times.

Chino deserved a point deduction for the headbutt b/c it was clearly intentional, and a fighter gets five minutes after a foul, so Broner deserved the time he got.

Cole is a sh*tty ref anyway.

Not to mention he let Broner hit Chino in the jaw after the end of the eleventh and Broner held, pulled, and cheated all fight. He also gave him too much time after the first knock down. Broner made the mistake of getting up too fast, he should have been punished with the continuing onslaught, but Cole separated them one more time.

I have known this guy since the middle 60's and politics played a big role in his becoming a ref., it certainly was not his abilities.

1] He warned Broner about 10 times but no point deduction.

2] Maidana loses one point, without a warning, for a lame headbutt after Broner holds tight after being knocked down again.

3] Then Cole gives Broner several minutes to "regroup" from the headbutt, thereby allowing Broner to recover from the knockdown, in which he was clearly staggered.

All referees make some errors in judgment, but this seemed a bit over the top. Do you think that Broner received this lenient treatment because he is the boxing establishment's guy?
