Should i be Southpaw or Orthodox?

i always think its best to listen to your trainers, although oscar de la hoya was in a similar situation to you. he was naturally left handed, but his coaches made him box in the orthodox stance because that was the style they were most comfortable teaching. de la hoya was a great fighter, but in most of his fights, he fought one handed. his rear hand, which is meant to be his most powerful, didn't get used as it could of because his most dominant hand was the front one. i suggest to you to stick to being a southpaw if thats where you're most comfortable

Stay with the style you're most comfortable with. As a southpaw you'll always have the advantage over right handers. That is as long as you keep your right foot outside of their left foot.

im ambidextrous and i prefer my left hand better but i fight orthodox cause i like my left hand being fast when i throw those left hooks i train 3 hours! the last hour i do southpaw so i mix it up when i spar cause i can fight both stances.

tyson was left handed but fought as an orthoox listen to your coach he can only tell you so much its up to the fighter to use his talents. u have to get used to fighting in orthodox postion

Turn to Jesus

you cant choose you are what you stand

first, i like to say i'm naturally left handed, and i feel comfortable in a southpaw stance but my trainer said i'm more powerful and hit more properly in orthodox but my feet feel so awkward in that stance. so, should i be southpaw or should i be orthodox. Or should I just learn everything in a southpaw stance first then become a switch hitter?
