Boxing: Will Floyd Mayweather ever fight a Top Rank fighter again?

I doubt it, but if you think so...who?

You know what sean, if floyd is as brave as ali then the pac vs floyd is already been made...Its about money, its not that they dont like each other...People dont like each other but because of money they can make a deal however, if the problem is being scared...I dont think you can make a deal out of that....

Floyd Mayweather Jr. may has serious issues with top rank but he also is a smart business man who will fight for serious money especially if the opponent is a marquee name and can generate serious money. Timothy Bradley is a top rank fighter and I wouldn't be totally shocked if Floyd fight him in the near future especially because of the many chinks in Bradly's armor he probably has seen especially in his last fight.

You might as well address that question to Bob Arum. If we go by recent precedent, After oft-stating that Mexican Abner Mares, a GBP boy would be the next natural foe for the now erstwhile Top Rank fair-haired boy Nonito Doanire, Arum proved that thos e were made tongue in check when offered an outrageous all-in $1 million to Mares and GBP for that fight. GBP promptly made a counter offer THRICE that much for TR to free Nonito for a fight with Mares. Nonito played hard to get and Arum flatly rejected that offer which potentially could have given Nonito his biggest pay date thus far.

What happened was that Arum settled for arranging a comparatively smaller fight between his two wards Nonito and Guillermo Rigondeux in that little known fight venue in New York City.

Nonito lost all his titles to Rigo while earning less than what he could have gained fighting Mares in a bigger, higher profile fight which could have been held in a much bigger venue in Vegas and grossed higher PPV earnings.

Arum has done that before pairing Manny Pacquiao against Tim Bradley.

The problem is not with Floyd. Floyd will fight anybody from Top Rank for the money. It is Arum who is not taking the risk of losing or having his top cash cows unmasked against Floyd.

Well, lets see... Arum is four days older than God. If he should croak, I think Floyd would go right down the line or at least Top Rank's Top Three, whoever they might be at the time. If Arum is to ornery to croak than Floyd won't fight any Top Rank fighters.

It's not fear. It's just ego, business and stubbornness on both parts.

No, not as long as Bob Arum is still running things.

Arum and Floyd HATE eachother, and won't help to make each other money, no matter how much. We already saw that with that whole Mayeather/Pacquiao sh*tstorm.

If Arum dies or steps down, and Todd DuBoef takes over, then I could definitely see Floyd fighting a TR fighter. Until then though, it definitely won't happen IMO.

i just dont understand how two confessed pure professional businessmen will let their personal feelings get on the way to earn the biggest fu
I doubt it

YES IF HE GREW SOME ****

I doubt it, but if you think so...who?
