Did anybody actually think that Robert Guerrero had a chance against Mayweather?

No chance in hell.

I'm even so disappointed that Mayweather failed to KO/TKO this punk. I think Mayweather would be able to send the crowds home happy with a KO/TKO victory.

I thought that Robert Guerrero would have given Floyd a different look by fighting defensively and smartly as Jimmy Young did against an aging but still formidable Muhammad Ali in 1976. I observe that fighters who took the fight to Floyd all failed and lost, many by wide margin. I thought that had Robert forced Floyd to be on unfamiliar aggressive, attacking mode by boxing and counter punching, he could have upset his plans and his rhythm by virtually controlling the tenor, pace and tempo of the fight.

I believe Robert has the tools and the skills and the character and discipline to wage that kind of a fight but he blew it by electing to fight Floyd the way 41 others had and miserably failed.

El tonto Roberto!

guerrero was in the #10 spot just like canelo...

both #10 against the #1... chance is so slim man....

guerrero is a bit of a swarmer...

i just dont know where his swarm went that night...?

he may not be a power puncher but the volume and the accumulation of his punches can be dangerous too just like how he swarmed berto... i never thought a swarm can be gone overnight depending on who you faces

I didn't. After the first round, you knew Guerrero was there just to pick up his paycheck. He just played into Floyd's game, which is not the way to beat the guy. You wanna beat Floyd, you gotta throw all caution to the wind. Nothing to lose, just attack him and hit him with all you got.

Even Guerrero himself did not think about that.

Who at 147 really would? Should he apologize for being above all the top guys...

No he had no chance.

He has no power, hes slow and he has no defence.
