Did you ever watch a boxer and not understand why others rate him so high?

Danny Garcia. He's a solid young counter puncher but there are a lot of holes in his game. A small Theophane gave Garcia a tough fight, the first title Garcia wins is a vacant belt against an old fat Morales who was outboxing Garcia early until age caught up with Morales and he became gassed, then he goes on to fight Khan and as much as I dislike Khan he was busting Garcia's face up easily.

I think its a matter of time before the not-so-swift Garcia gets exposed, and call me crazy but I wouldn't be surprised if Judah is the one to do it.

Robert Guerrero

Brandon Rios

Saul Alvarez

Off the top of my head

People were raving about Jeff Lacey just Before Joe C boxed him they built him up as the new Hagler but he hadn't beat anyone in his short career 20 fights and only turned a pro a few years before,

I'll be honest the first time I saw Carlos Monzon I thought he looked downright average. He seemed lackluster and ungainly, he also seemed to push his punches.

However with Monzon the more I saw and studied him the better he got. He was powerful and and skilled with a solid chin and ring intelligence. I now rate him as one of the top three all time great middleweights but on first viewing I wouldn't have said he was anything special.

Haven't watched this bro, i was still young then. But my grand dad (a prize fighter himself) shared me so much about the fab four - Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Hagler even when im still a toddler. He used those boxing bout stories to put me to sleep. Laughing by himself most of the times. They're damn effective to be honest,,,,LOL, but i'd grew up admiring Leonard and Hagler and boxing as a whole

-you know what bro, my grandad had extreme biases for the aforementioned two (aside from being a boxer, he's a gambler too, those two easily earned him a fortune.LOL) No wonder he'd rate Duran and Hearns so low as both got fu^k@d up by SRL and Marvin and until then i do not understand why others rate them so high.

Yea, Brandon Rios is a good current example.

Oscar Del Hoya I never got it people were always talking about how great he was but everytime I saw him he was getting his *** kicked. Kletchkos brothers don't get it in fact they are worse than Oscar.

the first fights i ever see of ali was his trilogy vs norton and i have to say i didn't get the big thing about ali, norton won at least two of the fights and the fights were quite boring , i just couldn't understand the big deal about ali later i see ali vs williams and understood why some rate him so high, i'm not saying Ali was crap but my first viewing of him wasn't that great .
