Do you actually enjoy watching Mayweather?

Very very crafty opponent selection, stalling tactics and waiting for dangerous guys to get beat in order to have a great excuse not to fight them make for boring fights for Floyd. Would love to see him up against Lara Matthysse Maidana Pacquiao and GGG for his last fights, those could be exciting.

its like poetry, if u dont understand it then u will not apreciate it. Not many understand poetry but those who do are fascinated by it.

If u really do understand the ins and outs of boxing and spar regularly or even had some amateur fights, u might find Floyd fights even more entertaining than Pacquiao's. But its subtle things that Floyd does that make his style beautiful to watch HOWEVER the commentators usually dont point that out which make it harder for the casual observer to appreciate it.

To me stinkers or boring fighters are like Andre Direll, Devon Alexander or Miguel Vazquez who either cling a dozen times a round or flat out run from their opponents. Very rarely do u see Floyd do that unless its the last rounds and hes coasting but usually hes always in balance to punch and rarely clinches.

You can't call Floyd boring without all the flomos or floydiots whatever you wanna call em getting their panties in a knot. Castillo, DLH, Cotto, and Judah were interesting. The rest. YES his skill is fantastic but when it's lopsided and no competition it's boring.

Like Hatman said in youtube video, most Floyd fans are homosexuals and Floyd is a boring fighter.

I enjoy watching him fight more than any other fighter I can think of. Like Alkhal said, Watching Floyd fight is like poetry. To me, watching Floyd in the ring IS poetry in motion, and it's sad that a lot of people don't even know what they're looking at even as they watch it. Watching him work and seeing the wheels turn in his head as he operates like a surgeon in dissecting his opponent is beautiful to watch.

A Floyd Mayweather performance is to boxing as Picasso putting paintbrush to canvas is to art.

I acutally liken a Floyd Mayweather fight to a performance art nowadays.

Some of the things he does are at such a ridiculously high difficulty level that it's crazy to me that he's able to pull it off consistently. The beauty of it is that he makes it look so easy. People take that for granted.

Its not his fault some people might think his fights are "boring". His opposition is at fault for that. He totally outclasses his competition. It's not his fault that they can't keep up. If people want to see brutality and blood and whatnot, they don't need to be looking for it in a Mayweather fight. They can go stand outside a bar on the weekend or go to a tough-man contest or something if what they're looking for is something that will quench their blood lust. Boxing isn't about standing in one spot and flailing away untill someone falls down, battered, bruised and broken. Mayweather reminds us of this every time he fights and wins dominantly. He is the grand-master of pugilism as it stands today.

Yes, I actually enjoy watching Floyd fight.

fact is his is a great skill... defense, offense, footwork, handspeed, precission... wow, breath taking on slow motions ei?

imagine that skill against a true challenge, against a nemesis, against someone the fans thinks will give him the fight of his life?

but if that skill go against his particular choice of opponent, of course its boring, what do we expect, he said it right in our face, he's a cherrypicker..... recently he's into it, high reward easy fight kind of thing.... he doesnt care if you come to his fight just to see him lose, he doesnt care either if you enjoy his show, he cares only for two things everytime he fights, his health and your money

Some of his fights are exiting it all depends on who he fights.

Both of his Castillo fights were very competitive and rough.

Styles make fights.

If he fights boxer-punchers it won't be fun because he will outbox them, but if he fights a great swarmer things get interesting

I only enjoyed Castillo 1, DLH, and Cotto because he actually went head to head with them. Most of the time, he is extremely boring to watch imo

Defends on my mood. When I want to see "sweet science" at its best, then Floyd becomes exciting for me - the movement, the defense, the smarts, the skill....

His skill is undeniable. But let's face it, none of his fights will be a fight-of-the-year candidate. He is so good at his particular style of defense-first boxing I cannot see anyone beating him. The problem is that he also makes for boring fights. No, I do not need to see blood and body parts strewn about the ring to consider a fight interesting, I just need to see a competitive match. The closest match-up that Mayweather has had to an even remotely competitive fight was de la Hoya, and maybe Cotto.

I will always be curious enough to watch Floyd. But I will be expecting a boring fight each time.

What do you get from watching Mayweather? Do you actually enjoy watching him?

He is the only boxing superstar that bores me...I enjoy watching, leonard, jones jr, ali, duran, hagler, hearn, pac, chaver sr, eric morales, even the likes of gerry conney,holmes,holyfield...floyd is just simply a boring fighter, person, entertainer...and even when he talks, he is boring...His refusal to fight pac makes it worst...

I do enjoy his fights before he retired, I enjoyed his co(kiness too back then cus he can back it up...

when he came back, I thought thats cus he plans to beat the current p4p king, he was a let down, he fights hypejobs if not worn out out of prime fighters

recently, i cant take him anymore, he just surrendered his belt and informed the public he cherrypicks his opponents...

Very much so......Well trained, well heeled and well schooled. Flawless defense and a thing of beauty to watch IMO.HE and James Toney know all the tricks in the book. Yes, I enjoy watching him box, not talk.

i love watchin May fight.

he has one of the masterful styles of all times, and he has defeated every other type of style, and dominated every time

he has even changed his style greatly the last four years or so, since he fought Shane Mosely, and become much less mobile fighter electing to stand right in front of his opponents and dare them to throw there best shot only to counter back with that right hand

that n1gga puts on a show, every time out, i dont kno what in the h3ll u are talkin about
