Does Khan vs. Mayweather make any sense?

For Mayweather sure. Most money he'll make in 2 rounds.

But if there is a positive side, is that looking at history, Khan seems to have done worse against aggressive fighters. Floyd looking at this, might conclude that this is the perfect time to showcase his offense.

Makes much more sense than Money fighting Broner or Danny Garcia. Especially if they fight in the UK where boxing hungry fans are eager to shell out to see a proper superstar like Floyd.

Khan has enough speed, skill and ring intelligence to make it a good and interesting fight, at least for the first four to six rounds. Up until he gets rocked or knocked the down the first time, Khan should match up well with Floyd and show us something we haven't seen Floyd deal with since fighting other guys with speed like Zab Judah.

To be honest, I am very curious if this fight happens. As ragdefender has pointed out, Khan does well against slick defensive fighters than he does against pressure fighters. Most of his losses were against pressure fighters. If there is any merit in that, Khan could give Mayweather a tougher fight than expected if he pushes the pressure to Mayweather.

Thing is, Floyd in my opinion can fight both defensively and offensively. Still, a very curious fight because of Khans speed and his tall stature. but this fights makes a lot of sense money wise.

I personally would prefer a Erislandy Lara vs Floyd Mayweather fight, but Lara still is an obsure fighter to the masses

Mayweather vs Khan does make sense because of the match up in styles. I think Khan will come prepared but get pot-shot all night. It makes sense but just less sense with renewed talks of a Pacquiao fight, following his win over Rios.

yea sure, money wise, it makes sense, but only for a non title bout... WBC had reserved floyds belt to the #1 contender, mandatory to defend that belt or vacate it

regarding the fight, well floyd is a surgeon inside the ring, hs surgical punches made his skill famous, one way or another, khans weakness will cause him the fight... floyd always capitalizes on his opponents weknesses, khans glass chin will be the red cherry floyd will target the whole night, fishnet is right, floyd might win a legit KO victory one last time on his few remaining fights b4 he retires

If Amir Khan can fight the same way he did Paulie Malinaggi and Zab Judah he has a chance to beat Floyd if hes stubborn chin doesnt get in the way again.

I just wanna see how Floyd adjusts to a fast guy like Khan. It's always interesting to see how a fighter adjusts to another mans game plan. I do think it'll be more competitive than what some are thinking.

No, it does not make sense and I do not think it would be that popular. Who would think that Khan has a ghost of a chance?

I think this is a dangerous fight. Khan has everything to gain and nothing to lose. His length, speed, power, skills, and punch volume make him dangerous. Good fight if Khan doesn't get KO'd

hahahahah...Khan has everything to gain but will not last rd 5 LOL...This is not a competitive fight because we all know khan has a glass chin...Put pac chin on khan and i doubt that floyd will fight khan...And that is a fact...

The money makes sense I suppose. It would be a popular fight for sure. Lots of people come out when either of these guys fight, but on a competitive level do you think there's a decent bout here?
