if a guy only knows how to come forward backing him up is the best way to make him uncomfortable , the same as making a counter puncher come to you .having said that i was a pressure fighter and i know if the guy stood in front of me i had him , i didn't like movers myself

Counter-punching and slugging is definitely one of the best ways to stop the swarmers from coming forward. But if you're not a pure slugger or a hard puncher then slugging all the way obviously isn't the best thing to do.

If the guy's backing off then just box him. Or you can just chase him down and keep slugging but that's up to you.

It's known that mostly, 'Sluggers beat Swarmers' - As this has been taught many times, main example is Foreman's style just being perfect against Frazier's.

Anyways, in sparring I fought a smaller Swarmer and actually, I was a bit bigger. I tried slugging and it was working, he was backing off!
