Best answers don't mean **** in this forum, your getting people who nothing about boxing asking a question and picking an answer from someone who also does not know boxing. Or your getting someone ask a question and not picking an answer and then it gets 1 vote from the person and wins a % and yes there are some top contributors here with a **** load of best answers with multiple accounts.
Then you get guys who are just trying to play to the person asking the question.
I know at one time I could give an answer that was dead on, not really room for argument, pretty much a strait forward answer and get like 3 or 4 thumbs down immediately so Ive got some friends on here lol. Thats why real boxing forums are better no points so you don't get all the dumb **** that comes with this one. Just stick to talking boxing and **** the yahoo point system.
NO ... there is a user on here who only gives 4 word sarcastic answers ... they have no substance and never help the questioner ..he has zillions of points and is a TOP badge holder ..... so I personally do not rate the general scope of the Best Answer system. I do rate individuals on a personal basis.
You are allowed to vote in the questions you have answered if they go up for voting.
Many times, the person asking the question chooses a Best Answer based on an agreement of their opinion even if wrong, or based on knowing a friend, or an apparent other association.
Low Best Answer percent does not prove much of anything.
Your 5% make my 6% look pretty good lol. I barely be on here and my number is higher than yours. You probably will never be a contributer but you know what your talking about. A 5 is bad but it's all you can work win.

If your best answer ratio is around the 5% mark, that means you probably don't follow the flock, your answers are different to the common trend of thinking....

Its hard to get a best answer because all the people with multiple accounts just give it to their other account.
Nope, best answers are highly suspect. Many that I have gotten were undeserved and many others I though I should have had
Flat out bum. 10% makes you decent. 15% or above is elite level business.
Nope! Not at all. It just means that other people have given answers preferable to yours. It doesn't devalue your input what-so-ever.
