Has boxing evolved to become much more harder?

Who knows.

What we do know is that the same techniques that exist today existed back then. Some people think Mayweathers fighting style is new and innovative, but they are ignorant of boxing for saying that;

has it gotten harder imo no fighters of the past went more rounds todays fighters struggle with 12 back then they went 15 and before that 40 50 rounds! And they knew nothing about nutrition and or modern exercise equipments we have 2day

Plus fighters would fight like 1nc or twice a every month now days fighters fight at the most 3 times a year old school boxers would take over our era

That's very hard to say. But one thing's for sure is that the technique has definitely evolved and we're using more legs for defense nowadays. You can see in the older days where boxers doesn't really bend their legs but just bows forward to dodge the punch which we're taught not to do today.

However, I've heard that there's a lot of boxers back in the days ran a full marathon and even overworked. George Foreman back in the days jabbed for 30 minutes straight and threw straight right for 30 straight minutes to train his punches. Boxers today does many different types of training but old boxers did one training over and over again because that's all they knew.

I'm a bit younger than the best era today but it's hard to say that the old boxer's extreme workout back in the days won't do good today.

This is just my opinion but fighters today will never match the legacies or greatness of fighters from then. Skill wise? Only a few could maybe match all time greats in skill. The heavyweight division will never have another era with all the great African American fighters.

If Sugar Ray Robinson was to fight in this era of boxing he would have gone 200-0

The problem with this era and before era is the technology. Nowadays, we have the technology to study our opponents footwork, patterns, tricks, etc. Back then, they did not

Ex: would a ( all fighters in prime) sugar ray robinson, marvin hagler, tommy hearns, or roberto duran be good in this day? I say this because in my era we have so many good fighters aswell : manny pacquiao, Floyd mayweather, GGG, canelo, lara, rigondoux, Etc... I'm just curious if those great "back in the day" fighter would do good today.
