Man that's a great question! Tua-Tyson was always one of my dream fights! Darn shame that it never happened! I always wondered why? It would have been a sensational fight! I don't think there would have been any feeling-out process, the styles of these guys would never allow that to happen! I see bombs away in round 1 just like Hagler-Hearns with Tyson being faster and better defensively, slipping Tua's bombs with quick head movement and beating him to the punch. I think Mike had more to work with than Tua offensively as Mike had a great left hook, a good right cross, and a killer uppercut. Tua was mainly a left hooker and he was slower afoot than Mike. Tua probably had the better chin which would allow him to survive the 1st round but Mike wins round 1 on all 3 cards 10-9. No knockdowns but both guys would land big shots but Mike would land more and slip more of Tua's bombs.

Tyson in his prime would win the first round against Tua in his prime.

Tyson's hand speed and accuracy would give a slow plodder like Tua hell. People who like Tua will point to his good chin, and that might enable him to survive the storm in the opening stanza.

Barring a lucky punch, Tyson would easily win the first round (and every round thereafter) until stopping Tua by TKO probably in the middle rounds, after a nasty beating.

I just don't see this being close.

IMO,Tyson threw many more punches and Tua with an even shorter reach than Tyson's 71 " reach was more of a plodder looking to lad up with his big left hook. Tyson too big,too busy for Tua Man, IMO Tua doesn't give up or get KO'd,b ut it is stopped along the ropes, referee TKO stoppage. Tyson the winner in 2.

Respectfully it would be a man against a boy.

Tua had strength..and although he hit like a club that was about it. Tyson would beat him to the punch and launch himself off the ring floor to make sure he took his head off with every punch. Lets face it, Tua would be there to be hit.

This would have been exciting, a toe to toe punch fest until one of them catches a solid punch to the head then it is all over.
