Out of these three boxers who has the best chance at defeating Saul "Canelo" Alvarez?

@ 154 Junior Middleweight - Who has the best chance and why and how?

A.) Paul Williams (Prime)

B.) Jame Kirkland (Prime)

C.) Austin Trout (Prime)

A.) Williams would throw his 100 punches per round and win a UD. Just volume and outworking Alvarez. Williams just never got tired. Alvarez is getting better every fight, so I'm talking about Williams in his prime and Canelo now.

B.) Kirkland would have no chance. His gas always runs low in the latter rounds. Punch alone will not derail Alvarez. Kirkland lose by TKO.

C.) Trout is the X factor here. And we will find out soon. Trout looks awesome and certainly has a chance, but I think that Canelo will be too tough and just out grit the talented No Doubt. If I'm wrong Trout had better get a bigger band wagon.

The aswer woud be A for the resons above.

I think a prime Paul Williams would be the toughest for Canelo because of the height and reach advantages along with his relentless attacks. This would be a very T.V. friendly fight ,and who says this fight can't still happen, Maybe Paul Williams will one day suddenly rise out his wheelchair.

In their primes, i think Paul Williams may get the nod to win a SD, there's a reason no one wanted to fight him when he was undefeated and in his prime.

Others are saying Austin Trout would be a tough fight for Canelo, and it would but how i see it; If Miguel Cotto can touch Austin Trout as much as he did, just imagine what a bigger, faster, harder punching Saul Canelo Alvarez can do.

Prime Paul and Trout will beat Alvarez. Im still not sold to Canelo. Ive seen the light punching Matthew Hatton go the distance against Alvarez. Mind you, he even staggered Canelo in more than one occasion in that night. Williams and Trout were a lot better boxer than Matthew will ever be and punches a lot stronger. IMHO these two will not only beat Saul but make Alvarez' tap out. Lol

This isn't really a fair question because despite his success, Alvarez is really still developing as a fighter and is quite young.

Trout would give him all kinds of hell, though. Alvarez isn't the quickest guy and he needs time to set up his shots. I wouldn't like his chances against Trout because of some of his limitations. The other two I think he'd beat in close fights.
