Was Pacquiao too old when he lost to Marquez?

It was a complete fluke.

Manny Pacquiao was dominating Marquez in that round before he got KOed with just 1 second left. Manny thinks the round is over and never expects Marquez would land any hard shot with seconds left. This gives opportunity for Marquez to land that hard shot. Manny doesn't see and pay attention, he doesn't even protect himself. It was a complete fluke. Marquez just had one great night. His loss to Bradley proved that.

well a is the answer which is closest to reality manny has been in many wars with bigger guys and that soften him up so when marquez hit him he was able to knock him out dont u notice how marquez only managed to drop pacquiao in there fourth fight?

I guess it's b. Perhaps, Manny thought he'd be able to KO JMM that time or at least score a couple of knockdowns and coast to another points win. Not that he never took the fight seriously, but he and his trainers just went through their usual routine and didn't do anything different to counter JMM's preparations. They knew that JMM bulked up and got stronger so they should've watched out for that KO punch.

I don't think he was too old I think Marquez just caught him slippin and knocked out any fight he had left in him for the future. So in other words Marquez may have just made pacquiao a fighter who isn't tthe same after a KO.

Which of the following is the reason Manny Pacquiao got knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez?

a. Manny was too old and past his prime.

b. Manny's training camp underestimated Marquez and did not take the fight seriously.

c. Manny's legs were cramping due to age.

d. Manny's mind was on partying in Vegas later in the evening.
