Just do it the drills we do at my gym involve a lot of cardio some weights and we do punching bags and mitss and practice a lot boxing is amazing but youre either going to love it or hate it youre training yourself right with those crunches doe remember u can play basketball baseball soccer etc but you cant play boxing just saying if you want to get competitive train hard and just do it
You totally should start boxing! I don't think just because you are a female you shouldn't follow through with what you really want to do. My friend does it and loves it! It would be a great way to loose weight, I would take it up, but unfortunately the nearest club to me is about two hundred miles away! Also, I am waaaayyyy to short! I would get killed!

I know this is really crazy and weird.
but the past two days i have been going crazy thinking about boxing.
I've never even been a particular boxing fan or anything. I watched UFC fights every once in awhile and that's about it.
I've been working out doing crunches and squats at my house daily, getting used to exercise. I'm overweight, and i want to get in shape, and I'm the type of person that when i get this weird feeling and driven emotion i'm all in, and i just feel it for this. i felt it for piano [3 years later and i can play better than anybody i know without lessons].
I don't have a gym membership currently, and I have no idea how to get into it, how to get started with it.
What is practice and how do you even get into boxing in a ring even just with friends to train?
Or anything I can buy like what do i need to do?
somebody explain what boxing is like when you're somebody into dancing.
