The thing people forget, including Cotto and his fans, is that he failed to even dent Margarito. Sure, Mosley beat him down but I wonder how that fight would have turned out two years earlier. Even the granite chinned Chavez Sr. eventually caved, but after nearly 100 fights.

It's criminal what Margarito endured preceding the Cotto rematch. Cotto is a nice guy but he's also been very fortunate to have people looking out for him.

If everything is on the up, I see Margarito walking through Maidana and stopping him late. I'm enjoying Maidana's surge in popularity but lets not be fooled. He's getting so much attention because people are talking crap about "blueprints". He wouldn't even be relevant if not for his fight with Mayweather. People tend to view the fact that he won more than a couple of rounds as some measure of success. I'm still amazed with the number of fouls he got away with.

Maidana is the toughest motherf*cker I've ever seen. When he's hurt he's the most dangerous. Ortiz dropped him 3 times and he still came back brutally. He's never been stopped and never gives up. I'd go with Chino on this one.
