In terms of competition I don't see Canelo giving Mayweather trouble, Vs. Trout he was fighting a minute per round for many rounds and throwing big shots once a minute which will not work against Mayweather, he also had the ring cut off on him and wasn't able to cut it off against Trout. the fight was very close but Canelo did impress me, Golden Boy tried building Ortiz who quit as a challenge, and Khan who lost twice as opponents for Mayweather, Canelo won and has been built up to create hype and excitement.. I also think Mayweather Vs Guerrero PPV's didn't do so well so Mayweather had to take the Canelo fight to make up for it. Mayweather will run circles around Canelo and box him. Mayweather-Pacquiao was meant to be this generations super fight in 2010 or 2011.. If Pacquiao is able to get himself up to that level we see what happens, maybe next year they can fight. Floyd had a huge weight lifted off his shoulders when Pacquiao lost in December, and lost a lot of money. Pacquiao looked so good until he got knocked out, Marquez will be the one remembered for knocking out Pacquiao.

The next best thing. Nothing beats the drama and impact of the Mayweather-Pacquiao as was originally attempted back in 2010.

I thought the fight would be more competitive and entertaining than the Rosado bout but Macklin ate his words about ending his so-called GGG hype. Actually it was GGG who ended the hype attending Matthew since his courageous losing stand against Martinez. And Gennady took less than half the time he took in disposing off the truly courageous Gabe Rosado. Is GGG the best middleweight now? I am still reserving my judgment until he gets to meet defensive boxer-punchers as Sergio Martinez and Peter Quillin. But I must confess that I was very impressed with his demolition of Macklin and his humility, wit and smartness during the post-fight interview where he correctly described Macklin as just one of his regular opponents when the interviewee opened up with the spiel about Macklin as his biggest for thus far.

Golovkin hardly worked a sweat in the Macklin fight so if he could be included in the Mayweather-Canelo undercard, I would like to see him again, versus GBP's Marco Antonio Periban or James Kirkland.

If that's not possible, hot welterweight prospect Ali Sadam vs. Robert Guerrero or Luis Collazo at welterweights

No fight would have been bigger than Mayweather vs. Pacquiao.

BQ: I'm not too impressed with Golovkin. I mean he has some talent, he knows how to cut off the ring and always remain in a position to throw a hard punch but he seems like he is mostly power. I've never been impressed with fighters who get by because of height, speed, power, etc.

We will have to see how good he is.

Pacquiou is not as skilled as Mayweather.Pacquiou is a hard hitter with stanima but I think Mayweather would have out boxed him and knocked him out.

The Canelo vs Mayweather is better because Pacquious boxing stock went way down after he was knocked out but I like Pacquious personality best but personalitys dont win fights.

Golovkin has many great fights left and will be fun to watch.

Mayweather-Pacquiao would have been the biggest fight of this generation. Neither Pac nor Mayweather deserve to be mentioned alongside true all time greats because of their reluctance to make this fight.

i would rather see floyd vs manny if i'm honest , i seem to be the only one that was disappointed with canelo vs trout ,before that fight i gave alveraz a decent chance vs floyd but thought saul was very one paced and he wasn't dynamic enough to trouble floyd to much .
