After almost 4 years, Manny will knock his opponent out. Alvarado is very durable, but Pacquiao is on a WAY different level then Rios.
I can't see Alvarado having any success in this fight. Unless Manny is worn out from the KO. Otherwise Manny can out box him, Manny can out brawl him, you name it.

I would have to give this one to Manny Pacquiao. About how he will win it, that we can't be too certain.
Alvarado is flat footed and does not move much which will make him a standing target, Manny on the other hand has superior footwork and is very accurate in his punching. If Manny fights in a relaxed manner like how he did since 2011 this fight will most possibly look like Pacquiao VS Margarito, you can't rule out a knock out though, either a late rd KO due to exhausted Alvarado or TKO for a battered Alvarado.
Manny by k.o. at rd.9 because im sure he will try his best to make it a good and exciting fight for the fans, marquez will already fight bradley on sept though, so i think we'll have to wait a while for manny and marquez 5.
the pacquiao of 5 years ago would have destroyed him in 4 rounds or outboxed him for 12 depending on how he felt, much too much for alvarado. i think today he is still favourite to win on points, maybe with a split decision. its a risky step to take though.
Alvarado still lacks experience to go with his skills. Even a diminished Pacquiao would knock him out.
