Victor Ortiz knocked out in round 2 is his career over?

is his chances of becoming relevant in the sport over

I said this was his last chance to redeem himself. So I can say yes. No patience, heart or mental game. Boxing isn't for him. I feel sorry for the guy though he could've beat Collazo the stats of hits landed and thrown were just about dead even. Unless he's given another chance I think it's time to hang em up.

It was pretty much headed in that direction when they put him on a Thursday night fight against a 34 year old guy, (no disrespect to Luis). I think Victor further sealed his fate with the way he fought tonight, no discipline, no patience and by the look of it, no real gameplan either.

He did seem hurt but I thought he could have got himself up, especially since the replay shows him consciously trying to avoid another shot from Collazo before going down, so he couldn't have been too badly hurt.

I guess this is curtains for any hopes of hitting the big time in boxing...

Several back to back defeats is hard to come back from... Where does he go from here?

If Ortiz is getting sparked at this level... What can he hope to achieve mixing it with the elite..??

I hope he retires. there would be no point in fighting journeymen for a couple of years, his ticket selling ability has nose dived at this stage..

Sometimes, it's best to admit when its over.

That guy is a clown that should stick to acting and dancing with the stars. He brings dishonor to Mexican boxers.

Did he just make a defensive mistake, leaving himself open for KO punch?

This was very bad for his career. His chance to be great is gone...
