W/c is worst, pac catchweight opponent w/ no stamina issues or floyd catchweight canelo w/ stamina issues?

Oscar went down from as high as 170 to meet the catch weight of 147 at advance age of 38 and he so drained himself that Pacquiao even outweighed him at weigh in How can there be no stamina issue there when Pacrquiao was fighting a man just barely out of a lengthy fasting? Oscar was so weak that he cannot even put up a semblance of a fight from the very first round.

Cotto was coming off a very hard fight against Clottey and they even had him trimming to 145 barely four months later knowing fully Cotto was already having difficulties meeting the welterweight limit. Fact is Cotto never fought as welterweight again. And fact is Cotto even complained about how he was imposed upon by Arum and the Pacquiao camp when he was the defending champion.

Forcing an opponent to move down in weight to defend their own title is bulls**t either way you look at it. But Floyd really contradicted himself when he discredited Pac's win over Cotto because of the catchweight while claiming he only fights guys at their healthy weight, only to turn around and insist on a catchweight against Canelo.

Also, a lot of people keep mentioning that Canelo's team offered to move down in weight to face him, but that offer was initially made two years prior in 2011, at a time when Canelo wasn't struggling to make weight. By the time negotiations began in 2013, Canelo had filled into his frame and his team insisted on the fight being at the full jr middleweight limit, but team Mayweather refused to budge.

You mean like when Pacquiao demanded a catchweight of 145 against Cotto who CONSTANTLY gassed out in late rounds?

Or like when he had a 38 year old De La Hoya come down a entire weight class, one which he hadn't been able to make in nearly a decade??? De La Hoya was so exhausted he couldnt even let his hands go. Team Pacquiao made damn sure they'd be fighting a corpse. Oscar was so drained that little tiny Manny actually OUTWEIGHED him on fight night! That's insane! Oscar was 22 pounds underweight in the ring hahaha. That sh?t was a total joke.

152lbs was Canelo's team's idea to entice Floyd into the match, it wasn't Floyd's. Watch Showtime's build up to the fight, Floyd laughs about it. And from Floyd's point of view, if somebody wants to give you that weight, why give it back?

I totally agree. People bash Floyd for making the fight at 152 but Canelos team went and opened their mouth and said they were willing to go down in weight just to get the Mayweather fight.
