Every one driving slows down to checkout a car accident on the side of the freeway because they are intrigued of what happened and generally have curiosity on what happened. This is what drew so much attention to Tyson people were amazed at this phenomenon that just tore threw everyone like a wrecking ball, and with such ferocity and speed as if he was always in a hurry to be somewhere else. Any time a boxer starts continually knocking opponent after opponent stiff/out there will inevitability be attention and people talking this happened with Mike Tyson in record time
Tyson was something special and the spectators knew it. He wasn't big for a modern pro but he had an intensity and power such that most guys were already wobbling by the time the bell went and the result was another quick Tyson KO. Most amateurs couldn't even live with him.
It was obvious he was going to go far by the time he turned pro and his first few fights were like throwing a poodle to a pit bull. Those guys he fought in his first few fights were bums and no-hopers. By the time he'd disposed of a dozen of those even decent fighters were getting nervous of getting in the ring with Tyson.
fans knows how to spot real power.... they'll know it if they spot someone w/ tremendous speed and unbelievable strength for the 1st time... no, they will not cry PEDs untill they watched all the past fights of the prospect...tyson was so powerful nobody cried PEDs, why??? not because he was black but b/c they checked and they confirmed tyson's power was already there from the very start...
sad cuz nowadays, everytime you see a prospect w/ power, cant help but think of PEDs behind it...
when an impossible happens, PEDs the 1st thing that pops up your head, just like floyd to pac when the latter became a threat....but alas, only a few believed him
well it's easy to spot PEDs, compare compare compare, analyze analyze analyze, logic logic logic... look how holyfield's physique changed before and when he fought tyson
He fought once a month and was stiffing everyone, that gets people excited.
By his 15th pro fight the crowd was screaming their Lungs out when it was his turn to be announced.. and even when he was an amateur people would scream to the top of their lungs and wait for his opponent to go down. i've never seen people scream that loud and go so crazy for an amateur who barely had that many fights
