Who has accomplished more? Roy Jones Jr. or Bernard Hopkins?

I love both fighters, and cannot decide who has the greater career accomplishments. Who do you think has accomplished more, and explain why. Thanks.

The comparison between US boxers RJJ and B Hop is just like the comparison between Argentina's best Nicolino Locche and Carlos Monzon

Clearly Locche is the more skilled boxer HOWEVER he doesn't have nearly the resume that Monzon had though out their careers as he constantly faced murderers row! And everybody agrees than Monzon is the best to come out of that country though Locche is more skilled.

Same here, RJJ was one of the most unbeatable fighters you'll ever see however he didn't fight nearly the opposition that B Hop faced though out his career while RJJ never faced his biggest challenge in Dariusz Michalczewski

Clearly B Hop accomplished more and in the long run he'd be viewed as the better fighter overall. One other thing B Hop has over RJJ and that's his boxing skills. Yes RJJ was more talented but he relied WAY too much on his athleticism and once he lost a step, he couldn't fall back on his fundementals.

Cause technicians like athletes like B Hop, Floyd, JMM, McCullum age better than athletic fighters RJJ, Terry Norris, Shane Mosley and Manny Pacquiao. Technicians will have the edge when scouting their overall career cause those skills and fundamentals don't deminish like freakish natural athleticism

Roy Jones is great he beat Bernard in 93, but I believe even though Roy Jones held 8 belts he didn't win those belts from anyone even close too these greats Marvin Hagler, Ray Leonard, Nigel Benn, Monzon, Hearns, or Spinks. He was great and maybe he could have beaten these legends all I'm saying is Roy Jones and Hopkins came into boxing at a time where the competition wasn't all that great. Hopkins lasted longer this year he is a champion in his late 40's, where is Roy Jones? I don't believe it really matters that Roy Jones Jr. beat Bernard and held more belts then him. I believe it's the progress you have made and the legacy that you have created during your time in the ring. Bernard has a great legacy what a journey he has had. Also it doesn't hurt that he won the rematch between him and Roy Jones, lol. I believe Hopkins has accomplished more I mean he set a new record for oldest champion in boxing history. They are both great though.

Tricky....Sure Jones had all the belts and attention from the media but Hopkins lasted longer at the higher level. Also, Hopkins fought a higher level of opponent than Jones did...so I would say Hopkins accomplished more.

Such a hard question, one I have no real answer for...

B-Hop's late career is ridiuclously good. He was an ATG at middleweight as it is, and then he proceeded to be a force at light-heavy at an extremely advanced age.

On the other hand, RJJ is the most dominant and talented fighter I've ever seen. In terms of resume, gun to my head I gotta lean B-Hop, but this question is as tough as it gets.

Roy jones jr held the most belts and is known as unstoppable in his prime maybe best ever p4p. So roy jones.

Roy was more dominant in his prime

But on the other hand Hopkins was good for so long

I give Roy Jones the edge due to Roy winning world titles as a middleweight, super middleweight. light heavyweight and moving up to heavyweight to capture a world championship.

id say b hop just cuz hes still champ and i think hed beat roy today

I think Roy Jones will do but they are both accomplished possible finally. Thanks!
