Who is the best pressure fighter at heavyweight?

joe frazier, mike tyson or rocky marciano?

plus bq:do you think mike tyson realy had bad stamina? if so why?

RELATIVELY speaking, honestly Id give it up to Marciano...relatively meaning that he also fought a smaller brand of heavyweight.

I gotta go with him on the overrated part of it too. Tysons glory days stopped at age 22. He wasnt a top tier fighter after that, and after his jail sentence he was more interested in getting high and women than fighting, he fought to collect a check. Holyfield gave everyone the map to how to stop Tysons aggression (he exposed that Mike cant fight going backwards). By contrast Marciano could fight going in any direction and didnt need an open target to swing, he just put all his weight into punches on your shoulders until you couldnt raise your arms.

And yes Tyson didnt fight the best of his era (he was still in his twenties during the nineties and the list of opponents he avoided is epic), versus Marciano who couldnt get a credible opponent so he fought them all...in a phone booth.

Nod, Marciano...tho I do give EWWD the nod that Mike could do more damage, per punch.

I'd go Marciano. He had the punch to back up the skills. Frazier probably had better infighting technique, but he was lacking that one-shot-n-drop power that Marciano, and Tyson had.

Tyson is very overrated, as we saw what happened to him when eh fought somebody in their prime, with a good jab, who wasn't intimidated. Buster ************* Douglas whipped that boy's ***, and viciously KO'd him. . 'nuff said.

So I'm giong the Rock, because he has the skills, the punch, and the undefeated record to back it all up.

EDIT: Those guys were still intimidated by Tyson, and let Tyson do what he wanted to do, rather than what they wanted to do. Swinging wildly trying to take somebody's head off is just more evidence to show you're scared, rather than calmly sticking, moving, firing off 1-2's, and 1-2-3's. Mike Tyson is extremely overrated - anybody who gets their *** TAXED, and VIOLENTLY (GOT DAMN, DID HE BRUTALLY KO TYSON!) KO'd by a guy like Buster Douglas is not world class. Anyway, to tie this in to the question, Tyson had weaknesses as a pressure fighter: His kryptonite was a strong jab, something that Douglas actually did have (despite being an average overall boxer). He couldn't weave under the jab consistently enough to set up his combinations inside the taller man's reach. Douglas was able to bust that noodle off its swivel cause Tyson left it out there for him to do so. . . After sticking Tyson with jabs, Douglas found home for that right hand. . And after that, a home for the left hook! To be the best pressure fighter of all time, you better be able to get by Buster Douglas's jab, and punches. . . Tyson could not. . . Holyfield then waxed that *****-*** not once, BUT TWICE! TWO TIMES! Then what Lewis did to him? OH GOD HAVE MERCY!

Off-topic: So yeah, not only is Tyson wildly overrated in the ring by nostalgic fanboys, but he was also a sadistic scumbag of a man, and human being. A vile, and odious, and foul rapist, and a racist. . HAHAHAH but Holyfield took care of that ***! After Douglas did!

nobody better than Tyson....

but even at his best, Tyson had a habit of getting progressivley weaker as the fight wore on....

in contrast, someone like Marciano could not produce the same type of explosive assault as Tyson,or as much power.....but he seemed to come up with big KOs late into fights, and after taking a lot of punishment

mike tyson
