Will ther ever be a fighter that goes on a 100 fight win streak .....100 wins on spin?

not sure about jimmy wilde going over 100 fights unbeaten he was a hard man so it would not be hard to believe there have been many story's of unbeaten fighters with crazy records legend has it bare knuckle boxer james figg went 268 wins unbeaten!

if you fight bums you can build your record to what ever you want if your good.

I think more people should pull a joe calzaghe build up your record to 100 and 0 or whatever and have one or 2 big fights fingers crossed you will end up in the hall of fame.

Win streaks like that are simply not possible today. Why?

1. People don't fight frequently enough to even reach that milestone of 100 fights

2. You would have to be an extraordinary talent.

Take Floyd Mayweather. He could possibly go as high as 70 and 0 if he kept on fighting. Nobody is challenging him unless he sticks around too long. And Jimmy Wilde in those 104 fights fought over 85 bums. Most had losing records too. Like Robinson, how many bums did he have to beat to reach 128-1-2. Over 100. See what l mean

According to boxrec, Wilde did not go unbeaten for 100 fights, although boxrec is not always reliable and they have him going 94 fights without a loss, so considering he fought so long ago and they have him only six wins away, it's very plausible he did hit the 100 mark.

NOBODY will go on a 100 fight unbeaten streak these days. It's asking waaay too much, and you'd have to get lucky along the way. Nobody fights enough anymore, and the competition would be too good.

Unless your goal is too go 100 fights and win them all, and you turn pro when you're like 15 and fight bums your whole career, and you don't get injured or knocked out or lose a close decision, it will never happen (and even that's far-fetched).

Just having 100 fights in this age is unheard of, so to go 100 fights unbeaten would be crazy!

As great as robinson was as a fighter. He would not go past 70-0 today. I personally think the compeition is better. It's harder for a fighter today to reach that mild stone. The compeition is much better.

some have said jimmy wilde won over 100 fights in a row but i don't think so and i have heard that there has been a fighter that beat over a hundred bums in a row but i haven't seen any evidence of it ..so will a fighter win 100 fights in a row ,they don't have to be unbeaten just on a streak.
