Do you think its time that boxing adapt an overtime, say a "13th round" to avoid draws?

the only way that would work is if the fighters were ready to go for the 13th Round after the customary rest period for between rounds

but that would never work, because there is always several minutes that pass by before a score is tallied up

these few minutes are a total cool don phase, where a fighters heart rate decreases, and adrenaline fades

to then expect someone to be ready to continue fighting after a multiple minute rest. anything much loner than a minute of rest will take a fighter out of his zone

No, one more round shouldn't decide a fight IMO.

Especially since nobody would know for a couple of minutes that the fight was a draw, and the ring would be filled w/ people and the fighters standing around waiting on the decision.

That would throw the fighters off for sure, it's just not something that would work.

That won't avoid draws.

First judges scorecards are secret so no one really knows if there may be a draw.

Secondly; in the past there were 15 rounds [another uneven number] and there were still draws.

I think we need put 13 rounds in for champion fights, but not for most fights. Unlike other sports, fights are not scored as simply with downs, goals, or runs. Plus the scores are kept secret until

end.

No, if they want to do that lets go back to 15 rounds for championship fights like it was in times past.
