I didn't bet much on it, b/c the odds were really good and I just wanted to enjoy the fight. Since I'm a degenerate I had to bet something on it though, I literally can't not bet on a fight.
I did win a sh*tload of money on Andy Lee, Marvin Sonsona, Paul Butler and almost every fight I bet on the UFC card. I also won a bunch on the over 10 1/2 rounds for the Tony Thompson vs Carlos Takam fight on Friday.
Whoever handicapped that fight on my book is a retard b/c the odds I got were +180, which is ridiculous. I almost thought it was a mistake it was such a good line, but evidently it wasn't.
EDIT: The +180 line was the Thompson fight BTW, I don't know if I made that clear.

No, that's not the sort of fight I would put my money on, it would have been on Martinez but Cotto is a great and not to be written off even though he was moving up, especially given the age advantage and his alleged revival under HOF trainer Freddie Roach. It would be quite some risk putting serious money on either one of them to win it.
But if I did put my money on it (and of course I would have lost) I'm sure Martinez would have reimbursed me. He knew he was injured coming in to the fight but because of his pride and his heart he didn't want to pull out. He said of his fight with Martin Murray that he could not pull out for those reasons plus the fact that 50,000 had bought tickets to watch him fight in Argentina that night. But having scraped through that he should have known that he was never going to be able to do the same against a fighter of Miguel Cotto's quality and experience.
Martinez would have been giving me my money back because he deceived us, he has a duty to let us know if there are any problems before the fight. He knows money changes hands after these contests.
PS: I didn't know that swear words were posted uncensored on Y!A. That must be some lapse, since all of these recent changes have taken place things haven't been right.
