Boxing: Can Andrade beat Canelo?

Andrade says he wants Canelo.

He has the talent, but I'm not sure he has the experience quite yet. He got tagged too much by the light hitting Brit he was fighting last. He got dropped by Martirosyan before that, even though he got back up and got the decision. Canelo would be a huge step up in class. I think that Andrade should match up with at least two top guys like Nelson, maybe one of the Charlo twins, Ishe Smith, Bundrage, or someone like that before stepping to Canelo.

Yes he is like a mixture of Paul Williams and Lara. Canelo should be the number 1 WBO contender not that it means much but Andrade has a limited resume so he should fight some other top contenders first or unify. Actually since Canelo is fighting Cotto at 160 after Kirkland they will probably meet sometime in the future at 160, Andrade is a big 154 lber and i'm not sure how much longer his tall frame can make the weight.

Yes i think Andrade has a good chance of stopping Canelo aswell.

Alvarez doesnt do well against slick boxers that can move well and have speed and power. Also Alvarez cant even cut off the ring to save his life.

He should pursue fighting another top competitor first before getting Canelo Alvarez maybe a fight with Wille Nelson would be good.

He's an orthodox fighter. Alvarez does better against Orthos than Southpaws. I don't think so.

He'll get robbed probably. I think it's an unwritten rule at the minute that you need to win 9 out of the 12 rounds and not get knocked down vs Canelo to get a judges decision.

He ha the talent to do it though, with totally fair judging.

Demetrius Andrade needs to fight guys his own size and stop fighting shorter guys. I can't respect a guy who is not man enough to fight someone his own size. Don't mention rose because he was a flat footed bum that made him look good. The dude was slow and barely threw punches. This guy should be a middleweight, but he looks like he is too scared to face those guys in that weight class. We all know that if he moves up he'll be forced to face stiffer competition that can actually throw punches and not stand there to be hit. He needs to prove himself big time.

No.

I think so. Andrade is really tall, really long, and surprisingly fast. He's seriously like 6 inches taller than Canelo and has an even bigger reach advantage.

Yes.

Andrade says he wants Canelo.

Of course. He is a seriously talented boxer.

He might be biting off alittle too much here.
