The only tune up fight for Floyd since he came back to boxing was his bout versus Juan Manuel Marquez. The bouts versus Shane Mosley, Victor Ortiz and Miguel Cotto are the types you can't call tuneups, world titles were at stake in those. So is his forthcoming fight versus Robert Guerrero.

True, Floyd fights just once a year but it does not mean those fights are tune up, especially when world titles are on the line.

I think instead of criticizing Floyd, you should give him props for preserving and even extending/prolonging his prime shelf life by fighting sparingly.
