Brook won but he got away with an excessive amount of clinching. You say the ref showed favoritism to Porter because he got away with some rabbit punches, but Brook's excessive holding every time Porter came inside played a more significant role from the opening round. And no, Brook was not robbed. Interestingly, the British judge had it a draw and the scorer for the British broadcasting crew had Porter winning by one point.

Kell Brooks got roughed up and almost upset by Carson Jones (who?). Porter is a limited, one-dimensional but very powerful fighter. He is not exactly the ideal type of fighter to be judged upon.

I don't think one American fan gave Brook a chance against Porter but credit to Brook, he went to Porters back yard and beat him fair and square. Porter will now fall into the "he wasn't that good anyway" category.

Brook was constantly clinching every time Porter came in, which really annoyed me. I really hate fighters who constantly clinch. Still, Brook won undeniably. Just wish he won in a better fashion.

He's composed, tough as nails, skillful good power and great defence. Never flustered I thought he was a hype job due tot he terrible win/ loss ratio of his opponents but I'm a fan for sure now. Rough and tumble kind of fight with Porter given every kind of advantage by the ref but still enjoyable due tot he moments of incisive clean punching that Brook provided. 100 rabbit punches and 100 headbutts. ******* disgrace really.
