Floyd will get payed again when he fights Canelo, by then his revenues will more than double, he will be ranked #2 or #1 by Forbes.

Forbes reckoned only the earning of his last fight versus Robert Guerrero where he earned more than $34 million. Since he will be fighting again this September against Canelo Alvarez in a potentially higher grossing and higher paying bout, most likely he will end up as the year's highest earning pro athlete again.

Floyd's earnings are exclusively out of plying his trade as pro boxer unlike others who have to buttress their earnings with incomes from other sources like product endorsements and salaries and commissions.

BTW, how many tournaments Tiger Woods has to compete in and win before he earns his multi million dollars? More than a baker dozen perhaps? Floyd has to fight just an average of two fights per year to earn his.

Boxing is a feast and famine sport. If you fight and have a high payday then you can be on top. If not then you better make your earnings last. He is still the highest paid boxer in terms of earnings though tied with Pacquiao after endorsements are considered. The troublesome thing is that he has no endorsements, though he may pick some up in the next few years if he continues to win and keeps himself out of trouble. It does not bode well for him however, that his income lives and dies with boxing.

Well he is doing his thing making money beating people up sounds like a fun living.

wait till he finishes his 6 fights, he will be worth hundreds of millions if he keeps fighting the best competition out there for him
