Watched the fight again and I had given him 4-9 as well. Lara was making Canelo miss, but was not punishing him for missing. I had it a wider margin for Lara the first time, but I honestly saw a draw this time. Lara wasn't throwing enough punches half of the fight. Round 10 and 12 could have gone either way as well, but I ended up giving them to Lara.

Yes, Lara should have at least tried to do what Mayweather did to Maidonna in the later championship rounds, which was to show that he was the older brother in the fight. Canelo was too strong and even cut Lara with a short left uppercut, he just never tired enough for Lara to do what he said he would do, which was KO Canelo.

Canelo always has problems with boxers b/c he cant box. He's the avg mexican boxer, he has no footwork or defense. Lara did the two main objectives in boxing "hit & not get hit". Close fight but 115-113 Lara.

I had Canelo winning 4-9, yes that's 6 straight rounds, because I had to! When I looked at my card after I was sure I messed up, but upon watching it again I scored it EXACTLY the same way.

Lara simply wasn't throwing! You can't retreat that much with such a woefully low activity level and still expect to win rounds. He simply wasnt fighting at all!
