Haven't seen either fight but ONE time each. Trout beat a faded Cotto (and much smaller) and Canelo beat a BADLY FADED Sugar Shane. The tale of the tape is almost identical: height, weight, reach, etc. Close in terms of physical matchup. I'd probably go with Trout at this time.
Canelo is tough, as are 99% of all Mexican boxers, so no -- he won't get the "ginger" slapped out of him any more than trout will get the black, or better yet -- terrible-looking receeding hairline "fro-hawk" slapped out his @ss

Nah Bro, this is going to be a tough fight. There is no clear cut winner here, even the betting odds suggest that (Canelo may be a slight favorite) These are two in their prime fighters and it should be a good one. It's a toss up in my opinion. The only way either one of theses fighters win is to stick to their game plan. If Trout Boxes and stays out of harms way (Big Lefthooks) and uses his overall ring generalship, he wins. If Canelo systematically breaks down Trout with Hooks to the body followed up by the right up top he wins. If they stand there and fight a "Phone Booth" style fight, then WE win.
