You guys have gone plumb loco, Ward vs. GGG is a horrible fight. Do any of you blood thirsty fans think GGG has more power than former middleweight champ Arthur Abraham? Did everyone forget what happened to Abraham's power against big, solid chin supers? Is everyone conveniently forgetting what Ward & Froch? GGG would get murdered by the elites at 168 right now, I don't care how much he brings out the little kid in you.
Agree with Roscoe. Although I think GGG could clean up 160, 168 is a different animal. I think Froch and Ward beats him. I'd rather see Ward vs Stevenson and GGG vs Chavez Jr or Murray.
I'd rather see GGG get in a slug fest with someone who could match his power. A fighter like Alvarez. Although GGG does hit harder no lie about that but ward vs Golovkin will be a great fight and I see Ward losing by KO.
i've just watched the macklin fight and i thought the same as you GGG vs SOG is the fight we want to see even more than martinez vs golokin .

Yes, it is and here is why. Andre Ward (Sugar Ray Leonard) vs. Gennady
Golovkin (Marvelous Marvin Hagler) who just shattered the previous record
of getting 13 straight KO's was tied with Marvelous Marvin Hagle. Now he's
improved to 14 straight KO's and just got his 14 straight KO by defeating a
very tough opponent in Matthew Macklin by 3rd Round KO. Macklin almost
defeated Sergio Martinez and was robbed on a decision in the Felix Sturm
fight both Felix Sturm and Dmitry Pirog have avoided fighting Golovkin. HBO
needed a new boxing superstar to emerge and Gennady Golovkin has risen
to that occasion. The only other fight that I see could spark similar interest
is Andre Ward vs. Sergio Martinez however, Sergio Martinez will not go up
to fight him at 168 Super Middleweight, he says that he will be willing to be
in a catch weight fight 165. Andre Ward has stated that he can no longer be
at 168 wants to fight at 175 Light Heavyweight he's already defeated a former
undisputed lineal champion "Bad" Chad Dawson. What else is there for Ward
at this point in his pro career? This fight needs to happen for boxing. I watched
the fight game with Jim Lampley and on the show Andre Ward was considering
signing with Top Rank Inc. to seek a fight with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. which is a
meaningless fight Sergio Martinez already defeated JCC Jr. and Top Rank really
doesn't have any other good Middleweights unless, Kelly Pavlik comes back and
I would see any reason for him to want fight JCC Jr.. That would be a big pay per
view match up which would help Andre Ward generate more of fan base to see if
he can market himself to be a pay per view fighter in the future like Mayweather.
I noticed that all of his most recent fights have been on regular tv Showtime and
HBO. We'll see what unfolds in the future. All we know is that Gennady Golovkin
best options are Andre Ward and Sergio Martinez. The only other fights would be
winners of Lucian Bute/Jean Pascal and Edwin Rodrguez/Denis Grachev. Ward's
not going to want to have rematches w/ Carl Froch, Sakio Bika or Mikkel Kessler.
Froch vs GGG would be the besy fight to make. There is did it.
