Boxing: In the last 3 year's I can't think of 10 guys with tougher resumes than Danny Garcia?

Not Golovkin. Not Kovalev. Not Thurman. Not Porter.

Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Bradley, Martinez, Alvarez, Cotto, Ward, Froch, Maglignaggi, Maidana.

Bernard Hopkins, Carl Froch, Miguel Cotto, Timmeh Bradley, Manny Pacquiao, Andre Ward, Devon Alexander, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Jhonny González, Sergio Martinez, Nonito Donaire, Juan Manuel Marquez, Paulie Malignaggi, kiko Martinez, Abner Mares, Guillermo Rigondeaux and Shane Mosley all have better resumes that Danny Garica.

I think Garcia is judged on the quality of his last half dozen fights....

With respect, Morales was in the twilight of his career, maybe the expectancy was he should have been dispatched more efficiently by the philly bruiser the first time around..??

Again, Zab Judah was no spring chicken either, and that went to the score cards..

On the up side, Garcia didn't blink when signing for the Khan / Matthysse fights, two class boxers that were pencilled in to rough Garcia up... (How many current 140lb fighters would take them fights??)

After consolidating his 140lb position, he did himself no favours by labouring to a points decision over a 'run of the mill' Herrera... I think the fight against Salka was a knee jerk reaction to the poor Herrera performance.... And although he disposed of his opponent with style, I don't think it really enhanced his stock any....

Garcia needs to get back on track again, he is still a quality fighter, but maybe needs to raise the standard of opposition again... He has proved himself against the elite of the division, he now needs to dominate his weight class..

Danny Garcia needs to keep going forward, not taking two steps back.

I think every one of the responses so far is right. Garcia is a very good, solid fighter and he got by all of his fights, except Herrera. I think he lost that fight. Excluding Khan and Matthysse Garcia has fought "once tough" fighters who are way past their primes and were there because of their names. He needs to fight the top guys at 140, then he can take on the B's and A's at 147 in preparation to assault the elites in that division.

Golovkin Kovalev and Porter don't have great resumes because they get swerved by guys in their division all the time. Garcia gets big fights because he has star power AND is seen as beatable because of the Khan/Morales fights, where he showed serious holes in his game and the Herrera fight showed that he definitely is beatable because well, he got beat.

You're shitting me? Bradley, Marquez, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto, Martinez, Canelo, Mares, Mosley

i think he's had quite a easy ride other than matthysse, morales was completely shot khan was beating garcia till he got caught and zab was past it .

I dont know how taking on a salka fight would forward garcias boxing career....

salka is like when a guerrero won the mayweather sweepstakes, you cant help but ask wtf those guys came from?

Not Golovkin. Not Kovalev. Not Thurman. Not Porter.
