I think you have answered your own question. At 81 years old, the most recognisable fighter under Don King right now is Travoris Cloud. If you go to his official web page, he doesn't even list his fighters anymore. I think that Don King is almost done. Father time beats promoters and everyone else too. Not just boxers.
Pretty much everyone, yes.
It's his own fault. Guys sign with DK b/c of his name, and then they proceed to sit on the shelf for years at a time and never fight.
Guillermo Jones literally never fights, same w/ K9 Bundrage (who just finally got away). Cloud averaged basically one fight a year, and he was a beltholder.
It's too bad, but I'm sure DK will sign somebody soon enough.
Well, Don King is older and has obviously lost his power and influence in the boxing world. He had his time. That's life. It happens to anyone.
BQ:] Has Don King really lost all of his prominent boxing champions that
were promoted by DKP to other boxing promoters? I know that Cloud lost
this past weekend to Bernard Hopkins. What about Guillermo Jones who
was the WBA World Cruiserweight Champion scheduled to fight Lebedev
in Russia, Denis Lebedev was the Interim WBA Cruiserweight Champion.
The last major championship boxing card that Don King produced recently.
