How would Floyd Mayweather have fared in the 80's?

Would he have been undefeated if he was in the round robin with Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, Aaron Pryor, Wilfred Benitez and others ruled 140-160?

Floyd would still be undefeated then. He would not be fighting anyone in your list.

He beats:

Leonard

Pryor

Benitez

Arguello

He loses to:

Duran

Hagler

Hearns

I have my reasons why stylistically he wins/loses to those opponents. But I'm sure some will disagree and think the Kirkland Laing's of the world would destroy Floyd just because he fought in an earlier time period..

Floyd would lose to Hagler Hearns and maybe Leonard. He is very hard to hit however guys like Lenord who are more active could possible win by points and Hagler and Hearns both ko him.

Ray Leonard would've edged him out. Duran, Hearns and Hagler would knock him out. He'd probably beat Benitez and Pryor.

he beats:

Roberto Duran

Tommy Hearns (at least at 147)

Wilfredo Benitez

Aaron Pryor

Marlon Starling

Alexis Arguello

he loses to:

Ray Leanord

Donald Curry

Pernell Whitaker

No way of knowing whether he would have been undefeated or not but Floyd Mayweather is good enough to compete in any era of boxing.

His record would be something like 25-2 both defeats coming by KO. Hearns, Leonard and Duran would all KO him. I doubt he would carry on after 2 brutal KOs

this people who post that FLoyd will beat all of them..

they are all floyd followers and fans...
