I really want to start to boxing..?

That's rubbish - boxing isn't a muscle-building workout. Short, explosive movements with no eccentric resistance are not conducive to myofibrillar hypertrophy.

Boxing will improve the endurance, contraction speed and power output of your muscles, but not the mass. It's excellent cardio - it'll lean you out something wicked if you're willing to put the effort in.

I say go for it - it's very rewarding. Just be prepared... it's one of the toughest sports you could have picked (IMO it's the second toughest sport in the world after freestyle wrestling). You really need to have a strong character and a lot of determination if you want to make any progress.

You should try it for at least one or two seasons. And you spell better than most 16 year old Facebook girls.

if anything boxing slims you down and reduces muscle tone. you only gain muscle if you decide to do weights in the boxing gym so theres no problem there. i do boxing and love it

if boxing is something that you are really passionate about than go for it. it's your decision girl :) for slimmer stomach you could try looking it up in youtube there's loads trust me

So I'm a girl, and I have really broad shoulders already, and I HATE IT. But starting to boxing, will just make them look even more big, right? My mom says, that it'll make me really muscular, but it sounds really cool, and like a good sport. I really want to be slim around my stomach, but then again, I don't want to have broader shoulders than my brother, lol. Should I start to it?

(sorry, if there are any misspellings, but english is my second launguage)

PLEASE HELP

Thanks. :)
